Attention UConn Marching Band Alumni! Come celebrate with fellow UCAMB members and once again take to the field at Homecoming!
Now in his 21st year with the UConn Marching Band, Dr. Mills will again be welcoming back UCMB Alumni and has invited the UCAMB to perform with the marching band for the UConn vs. South Florida Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 15 (game time is TBA). The Alumni Band will rehearse in the morning at Rentschler Field, tailgate for lunch, re-assemble at the UConn Alumni Association's Spirit Village tent to perform a few numbers, and then march into the stadium with the UConn Marching Band. UCAMB seating is adjacent to the Marching Band in the stadium.
UCAMB members are also invited to the Homecoming Barbeque hosted by the Alumni Association at Rentschler Field. More information can be found at UConnAlumni.com/homecoming.

UConn-Fordham Football Game Postponed
The University of Connecticut vs. Fordham football game scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 1 has been postponed to Saturday, September 3 at 12:00pm noon due to Rentschler Field being unavailable for use. The stadium is currently being used by the Connecticut National Guard for use as a commodities distribution center to provide towns and cities of the state that are in need of essential supplies in the wake of Hurricane Irene.
The UCMB Preview Show and Alumni Tailgate have been rescheduled to Friday night! The show will take place at the Sherman Family Sports Complex on campus.

The Show Goes On!
The University of Connecticut Marching Band proudly presents the 2011 field show entitled, "The Show Goes On". Inspired by Lupe Fiasco's recent hit of the same name, the UCMB will feature the music of artists who are known for their exciting and exhilarating performances. Among the artists featured are Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Cee Lo Green, Janelle Monàe, Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Michael Jackson. The UCMB will bring the music of these artists to life with its own unique and electrifying show style. Get ready for the 2011 UCMB and "The Show Goes On!"
